Your role at Kittl

You will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that enables our web app to scale, operate efficiently, and deliver high-quality services. As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll be building and improving the current infrastructure as well as supporting the company's growth.

What you’ll do

• Build and Maintain Scalable Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure using the power of AWS services and modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to accommodate our ever-growing needs.

• Automate Deployments: Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automating the build, test, and deployment processes for our applications, ensuring smooth and efficient releases.

• Proactive Monitoring: Implement and enhance monitoring solutions for our services. This will allow us to track performance, identify potential issues, and predict bottlenecks before they arise.

• Bridge the Gap: Collaborate effectively with development teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure changes into the development lifecycle.

• Incident Management: Be prepared to prevent incidents and, if they occur, minimize their impact and ensure swift resolution to maintain application uptime.

What you’ll need

• Experience: Proven hands-on experience building highly scalable infrastructure for products with diverse and distributed user bases.

• IaC: Confident knowledge and experience using IaC solutions like Pulumi, Terraform, or similar tools.

• CI/CD: Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, ideally using tools like Github Actions.

• Coding: Familiarity with coding in TypeScript is a plus.

• Problem-Solving: Possess a strong desire to tackle issues at their core, even when they're hidden by complex layers of abstraction.

• Efficiency: You understand how to simplify complex situations and work efficiently, delivering results quickly and smartly.

Interview process

• Recruiter interview (30 minutes)

• Technical interview (60 minutes)

• Leadership interviews with Director of Engineering & CTO (30 minutes each)

• Bar raiser interview with Founders Associate, right hand to CEO (30 minutes)
